We understand that for some people with autism spectrum conditions (ASC),
sensory or additional needs a visit to a shopping Centre can be a daunting experience. To help make your
visit as enjoyable as possible, The Lowry Outlet have been working in partnership with the Together Trust
and their team of autism specialists, to train our staff and put in place some helpful information that
we hope will make your visit more enjoyable. We have got wristbands available from the information desk
which can be worn to help our staff identify when a person has autism spectrum conditions (ASC), sensory
or additional needs. We can then help to make your visit a more fun experience whether it is taking you
to the front of a que, finding you somewhere quiet to relax or just generally assisting in any way we
can. These are of course optional as we understand not all visitors will want to wear these, in this
case if you wish to inform the Information Desk of your arrival and we will help out as much as we can.
We have digital maps available of the Centre and surrounding areas which aim to support you from the
early stages of planning a visit, arriving at the Centre, information about the amenities and material
about other things to do in the area.
Please note smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Lowry Outlet, this
also includes the use of e-cigarettes.
